How to Flash Your Xbox 360 Using a USB Port

Microsoft regularly updates the Xbox 360 with new system software. These updates often include new Xbox 360 features in addition to fixing bugs. Xbox 360 consoles normally update automatically when they connect to Xbox LIVE. If you don't have an account with Xbox LIVE or a sufficiently fast Internet connection, you can also flash your Xbox 360 with the newest system software by plugging a flash drive with the downloaded update into its USB port.
