How to Set Up for NASCAR 08

EA Sports' "NASCAR 08" recreates NASCAR racing on the Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. Besides racing a single race, the game features many other modes. There are seasons and challenges that can also be played, adding to the game's replayability.

  Select the mode that you want to play at the opening screen. "Race Now" allows you to play a single race. "The Chase" allows you to race NASCAR's ten race playoff. "Season" allows you to race an entire NASCAR season. "Toyota Racing" allows you to perform different challenges such as avoiding wrecks. Press the "A" button on the Xbox 360 and "X" on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 to select the option that you want.

  Accelerate the cars with the "RT" on the Xbox 360 or "R2" on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. Brake using "LT" on the Xbox 360 and "L2" on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3.

  Steer using the left analog stick no matter what version of the game you are using.
