How to Get More Zombies on Left 4 Dead

You may want to add more zombies to your current game for a challenge after mastering "Left 4 Dead." Only the PC version of the game provides this option. Use the game's console to add a single zombie, a mob or a specific type of creature during gameplay. You must enable the use of cheats before bringing any zombies into the game.

Instructions

  Select "Options" at the game's main menu. Go to the "Keyboard/Mouse" menu and select "Allow Developers Console." Start your game. Press the "Tilde" key during any part of the game. Enter "Sv_Cheats 1" and press the "Enter" key.

  Press the "Tilde" key and enter "z_spawn zombie" to add a single zombie to the game. Press the "Tilde" key and enter "z_spawn mob" to add a mob of zombies to the game. Press the "Enter" key to confirm any cheat.

  Press the "Tilde" key and type "z_spawn" plus any of the following words for the corresponding type of special zombie: "boomer," "hunter," "smoker," "tank" or "witch." Press the "Enter" key to confirm any cheat.
