Copying Data to Removable Storage Device
Power on the Xbox 360 and allow it to fully load. You should be at the main dashboard.
Insert the flash drive into the USB port on the front of the Xbox 360.
Navigate to the "My Xbox" option on the dashboard. Select the "System Settings" option.
Highlight the "Memory" option to display all types of memory recognized by the Xbox 360 console. This will show your installed hard drive and any removable media, including the inserted flash drive.
Select the "Hard Drive" option to view the content you want to copy.
Scroll through the categories of available content on the Xbox 360. Some options are Gamer Profiles, Videos, Themes and Music. Choose the category containing the content you would like to transfer.
Scroll through the content to locate the data you would like to transfer. Select the file and choose the "Copy" or "Move" option. Choosing to copy the file will leave the file in its place on the Xbox and also create a copy on the flash drive. Choosing to move the file will erase the file from the Xbox and place it on the flash drive.
Choose the flash drive in the list of storage devices. This should automatically pop up once you make your choice to copy or move the data. The Xbox will then place a copy of the selected data on the flash drive.
Repeat for additional files, if necessary. Remove the flash drive from the Xbox when the transfer is complete.
