How to Play Xbox on a Laptop With Dazzle

If you're an avid traveler or simply don't have access to a television set to connect your Xbox too you can easily hook it up to a laptop computer with a Dazzle video capturing unit. Connecting an Xbox to a laptop is also a way to record a trick or a high score and share it on the Internet. If your laptop has an Internet connection, you also can connect to Xbox Live and play video games online.

  Connect the Dazzle DVC unit to a USB port on the laptop. If the laptop doesn't immediately recognize the unit, install the Dazzle software located on the CD-ROM that comes with the unit.

  Connect the audio-video cables to the Dazzle unit and to the Xbox unit. Make sure the colors match up together; otherwise, the audio and video won't work correctly.

  Power on the Xbox video game console.

  Open the video capture software located on your computer. You can either use the software that's included with the Dazzle or you can use any other editing software that's already installed on your laptop. You should immediately see the Xbox playing in the editing software.
