Things You'll Need
Instructions
Eject the "Prince of Persia" disc from the Xbox 360. Turn off the console.
Remove all cables connected to the Xbox 360, including the power and audio/video or HDMI cables, as well as your hard drive and any other peripherals.
Allow the Xbox 360 to cool for 30 minutes. Follow the next few steps while you are waiting.
Clean the "Prince of Persia" disc with the microfiber cloth, wiping from the center of the disc to the outside edge of the disc.
Ensure that your Xbox 360 is placed in a dust-free and well-ventilated area to prevent further overheating problems, as this is most likely the root of your problem.
Reconnect all cables, the hard drive and any other peripherals to your Xbox 360 and turn on the console.
Clear the Xbox 360's system cache by navigating to "My Xbox," "System Settings" then "Memory." Highlight your primary storage device, most likely your hard drive, and press the "Y" button and select "Clear System Cache." Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
Test the system with another Xbox 360 game disc. If the second disc works properly, reinsert the "Prince of Persia" disc. If the problem persists, then your Xbox 360 most likely needs servicing; the root of the problem may not lie with the disc at all.
