How to Install an Xbox Networking Adapter

The Xbox Live network is a large part of the gaming experience of the Xbox 360. It allows users to play online with friends, communicate with other users and download various content options and game add-ons. With an Xbox wireless network adapter, you can free up the console's Ethernet port and reap the benefits of a wireless connection.

Instructions

      Snap the tabs of the of the wireless adapter into the slots on the right side of the console's back panel.

      Plug the USB cable of the wireless adapter into the USB port beneath the adapter.

      Flip up the adapter's antenna.

    • 4

      Examine the indicator light on the adapter. It will light solid green when it connects to a wireless router, gateway or access point.
