How to Unlock Secrets in Red Dead Redemption

"Red Dead Redemption" was one of the smash video-game hits of 2010. In addition to a long, single-player campaign in an open world, "Red Dead" also featured a multi-player mode which included a number of secrets to be unlocked. The more time a player spends in the multi-player mode, the more experience he will earn. An experience point system is the basis for unlocking the various bonuses in the game. This is similar to the modes utilized in other popular multi-player games such as the "Call of Duty" series.

  Play through to rank 50 in order to unlock the weapons that are available to you in the multi-player mode of "Red Dead." Although not all ranks provide you with an unlocked weapon, many between rank 1 and 50 will. For example, at rank 1 all you have access to is the Cattleman Revolver. You will get a new weapon each level up to rank 5, when you get the Volcanic pistol. From then on, there will be sporadic unlocking of new weapons, culminating with the Buffalo Rifle you attain at rank 50.

  Reach all the available tiers in Legend mode to unlock the rarest mounts. There are seven standard mounts which will be unlocked as you progress to level 50. These include the Cleveland Bay and the Hungarian Half-Bred. However, to unlock the secret mounts you will have to reach tier 4 of the Legend mode. Each tier is reached upon reaching level 50 in that mode. The mounts you can unlock are the Buffalo, Albino Buffalo, Super Bull and Zebra Donkey, in that order.

  Get 100 percent completion of the single-player mode to unlock all of the available outfits in the game. If you achieve 100 -percent completion, you should acquire all of the other available outfits, and will be awarded access to the Bureau Uniform as a reward for reaching the 100-percent milestone.

  Complete these in-game tasks to be given rewards in the form of avatar clothing for your XBox live avatar. Shoot someone's hat off and you can get a sombrero. If you search the chest in the house which burnt down in Riley's Charge, you get a "Red Dead" shirt. To get the other shirt and logo, all you have to do is open 40 chests throughout the game. After you fihish the game, go to Beecher's Hope. Go through the attic in the house to get the final shirt.\
