Things You'll Need
Instructions
Hook the Ethernet cable to your Xbox 360 and laptop. This creates a link--called a "local area network"--between your console and computer, allowing the laptop to share its Internet signal once properly configured.
Turn on both the console and the laptop.
Connect your laptop to the Internet wirelessly.
Right-click the wireless symbol in the taskbar in the bottom right-hand corner.
Choose to "Open network and sharing center." A window appears with networking options.
Go to "Change adapter settings." A new window appears where you can view all of your active and inactive network connections.
Highlight the local area and wireless Internet networks by holding down "Ctrl" and clicking each item.
Right-click one of the highlighted networks and select "Bridge networks." Once bridged, the laptop shares the wireless Internet with the console.
