How to Set Up an XBox Controller For Call of Duty 4

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is a first-person shooter available on the Xbox 360 video game system. "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is controlled using the standard Xbox 360 game controller and allows the player to choose from a variety of button layouts, as well as look controls and sensitivity. The control options can be accessed from within the game's main menu and once changed will be saved to that user's hard drive.

Instructions

  Insert "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" into the Xbox 360 disc drive.

  Highlight the "Controls" menu option, then press "A" on the game controller.

  Cycle through the preset button layouts at the top of the screen until you find that you want to use. The button layout will be displayed on an image of a Xbox 360 controller on the center of the screen.

  Raise or lower the look sensitivity to a level you are comfortable with. A higher number makes the stick more sensitive to movement while a lower number makes the stick less sensitive.

  Turn "Look Inversion" on to flip the camera controls. With "Look Inversion" on pressing up on the right joystick will cause the camera to tit down, while pulling back on the joystick will cause the camera to tilt upward.

  Press "B" on the game controller to exit and save the changes made.
