  Select a laptop cooler at least as big as your Xbox 360 that will fit in the space you intend to have your Xbox 360 situated.

  Place your Xbox 360 in well-ventilated area. Having your Xbox 360 in an enclosed space will render any attempts to keep the console cool useless.

  Place the laptop cooler where your Xbox 360 will be located, then place the Xbox 360 on top of the laptop cooler.

  Connect the laptop cooler's USB cable to a USB port on the Xbox 360 console. If possible, use the USB port on the back of the console, so that the front USB ports can be used for devices that you might remove more often.
