How to Get Xbox Live for an Xbox Original Wireless

With the Xbox 360's wireless adapter you can connect to the Internet to utilize Xbox Live. Xbox Live offers online game play, music, game and video downloads as well as the latest game updates. You will need to have an Xbox Live account to access the features. Setting up the Xbox Original Wireless to get Xbox live requires only a few simple steps.

  Insert the wireless network adapter into the Xbox 360. Attach the adapter's USB connector into the USB port. Point the network adapter's antenna upward.

  Turn the Xbox 360 on. Verify that the LED light is green.

  Navigate to "Systems" on the main menu and choose "Edit Settings." Press the "A" button on the controller. Choose "Wireless Mode" and press "A" again.

  Select the wireless connection you use. Press "A" to save it. Select "Test Xbox Live" to verify the connection is working. You can now connect to Xbox Live with the Xbox original wireless using the Xbox Live account you have.
