How to Play AVI Movies Through an Xbox

In late 2007, Microsoft released a fall update to their Xbox 360 gaming console. In addition to improved navigation and user profiles, Microsoft expanded their video support to include DivX and XviD AVI video files. Playing your AVI video files through your Xbox is fairly simple, though you will need a USB drive to transfer them to the console.
