How to Get Achievements in Call of Duty: World at War for Xbox 360

"Call of Duty" is a long-running video game franchise published by Activision since 2003. Infinity Ward was the original developer of the franchise, but in 2006 Activision branched out to an additional developer named Treyarch, who went on to develop "Call of Duty 3," "Call of Duty 5: World at War" and "Call of Duty 7: Black Ops." The "Call of Duty: World at War" Xbox 360 game was released in 2008 and has numerous achievements built-in to it, all of which can be won by completing specific tasks in the game.

  Insert the game disc in your Xbox 360 disc tray. Choose "Game Details" when it appears onscreen.

  Scroll to the right to the "Achievements" section and select "View All." All the available achievements for the game will be displayed. Achievements not won will be displayed with a lock icon, and already won achievements will be displayed with special icons.

  Choose an achievement and follow its instructions. Achievements, when scrolled over, will display a title and description outlining what you must do to get it. Once you have chosen, start the Call of Duty: World at War game and follow the instructions.
