How to Use Voice on Call of Duty 3 With Xbox Live

"Call of Duty 3" is a first-person shooter game available on the Xbox 360. It features a single-player campaign that can be completed individually, as well as a multiplayer component that allows players to fight with or against one another in an online environment. In order to maximize the team aspects of the multiplayer experience, it is helpful to verbally communicate with one another. Fortunately the "Call of Duty 3" online multiplayer supports voice chat, provided that the player has a microphone and an Xbox Live gold account.

  Turn on your Xbox 360, then navigate to the "My Xbox" menu.

  Select the profile that is associated with your Xbox Live gold account, then press the "A" button to sign into Xbox Live.

  Insert the "Call of Duty 3" game disc, which will prompt the game to start.

  Connect your microphone to your controller by plugging it into the jack on the bottom of the controller.

  Select the "Multiplayer" option from the main menu, then specify the type of game that you wish to play. Once you are in a game lobby, you will be able to hear other players speak and they will be able to hear you speak as well.
