How to Play X-Box Games on Your PC

Microsoft manufacturers the Xbox gaming console, so it would only seem fair for Xbox games to be compatible with Microsoft PCs. Although you can't just place the disk into your computer and play Xbox games, you can download some software online that will allow you to play Xbox games on your PC. This software is known as an emulator because it emulates the game to make it compatible for computers.

  Download an Xbox emulator (see Resources). The two emulators available for downloading are Xeon and Cxbx. Xeon only plays Halo on its software; Cxbx plays all Xbox games, however some users have experienced issues with Cxbx.

  Download the emulator file, and open it up in Windows XP. Run the software setup system to get the emulator fully installed on your computer.

  Place the Xbox game into your CD drive on your computer, and download the game file after it pops up in the emulator.

  Play the Xbox game, but remember that these games are often filled with glitches.
