How to Get Rid of Scars in Fable 2

In "Fable II," players become a hero that is destined to play a major role in the fate of Albion. During the hero's travels, she partakes in multiple skirmishes and fights with bandits and monsters. If the hero is knocked out in battle, she is able to come back to life, but is penalized with a bodily scar. These scars are normally permanent and stay with the hero for life. If you wish to remove the scars, there are two ways to do so.

Instructions

Defeat Chesty's Minions in Nightmare Hollow

  Do a variety of good deeds, such as donating money to the temple or giving villagers gifts, if you have a low purity level. A high level of purity is required to erase scars in this mission.

  Go to Brightwood Tower and purchase it for 250,000 gold. Climb the stairs to find a bed on the top floor.

  Sleep in the bed, and you are transported to Nightmare Hollow. Walk forward to interact with the chest in front of you. The chest, named Chesty, asks you to play a game, which involves defeating several waves of enemies.

  Defeat the waves of enemies, including Balverines, Hollow Men, Beetles, Hobbes and a Banshee. You are now able to open Chesty and receive your reward of The Diamond of Sorrow. Upon opening the chest, you are transferred back to Brightwood Tower. If your purity is high enough, all scars are removed.
Purchase a Scar Removal Potion from Knothole Island

  Purchase the "Knothole Island" downloadable content from the Xbox Live Marketplace. This content costs 800 Microsoft Points as of December 2010.

  Start the "Fable II" game and go to the Bowerstone Market docks. Speak to the man on the docks, and agree to go with him to Knothole Island.

  Walk to town once you arrive in Knothole island. Visit the Cosmetician's shop and buy a Scar Removal Potion.

  Open your inventory and select the potion to drink it. Upon doing so, your scars are completely removed. If you get more scars after this, you may buy and consume another potion to get rid of them.
