How to Add a Wireless Controller to an XBox

The Xbox 360 supports both wired and wireless peripherals. Up to four controllers can be connected simultaneously. The official Xbox wireless controller can be used to manipulate games and DVDs. As with all wireless peripherals on the Xbox, the wireless controller must first be synced to the Xbox before it becomes operational.

     Turn on the Xbox.

     Press the "Guide" button on the center of the wireless controller.

     Press the "Sync" button on the front of the Xbox. The lights on both the controller and Xbox will flash. When the flashing stops, the controller is synced to the Xbox.
