Microsoft's Xbox 360 console was released in fall of 2005. Since then, the Xbox 360 has seen new model releases with various upgrades, including larger hard drives, wireless networking capability, and revision of its physical design. If you are looking to sell your Xbox 360 to upgrade to a new one, switch gaming systems, or just make a few bucks, there are a number of methods available to you.

  Speak with friends and family members to find out if anyone is interested in purchasing your system. This is a good way to unload a console quickly, though you may not get top dollar for it.

  Post your Xbox 360 on an online sales site, such as Craigslist or eBay. Both of these have categories devoted specifically to video games. Be sure to list the features on your Xbox 360, as well as any included accessories.

  Bring your system to a game store, such as GameStop, that accepts trade-ins or buys used systems. There are several national chains that pay for used consoles in working condition.

  Put up sale fliers at local coffee shops or on a public bulletin board at work. Include information on price, accessories and how to contact you.
