Activating Xbox to Computer

  Power on your Xbox, a computer and a wireless router.

  Connect a wireless adapter to your console. Using your controller, navigate to the system menu blade.

  Select "Network Settings," "Edit Settings" and "Wireless Mode." Select your wireless network and enter a password if necessary. Select "Done."

  On your computer, download Windows Media player 11 (see Resources). Follow the instructions to complete installation. After installation, click the arrow below the "Library" tab and select "Media Sharing."

  Check the box that says "Share my Media." Press "OK."

  In the next dialog box that appears, select the Xbox 360 as a device to share your media with, and select "Allow."
