Press and snap the plastic tabs on the adapter into the slots located on the back of the Xbox 360 console.
Plug the adapter's USB cable into an available USB port on the back of the Xbox 360 console.
Turn the adapter antennas upward.
Unplug any network cable that is currently plugged into the console.
Cycle up or down through the menu options on the Xbox 360 dashboard to the "My Xbox" menu section.
Press right on the left controller joystick until "System Settings" is displayed on the screen, then press "A" on your game controller.
Highlight "Network Settings" then press "A" on the controller.
Highlight "Configure Network" then press "A" on the controller.
Highlight "Wireless Mode" in the basic settings tab, then press "A" on the controller.
Highlight "Scan for Networks" then press "A" on the controller.
Enter the wireless network password by highlighting the appropriate letters on the onscreen keyboard and then pressing "A" on the controller. Press "B" on the controller after entering the password.
Highlight "Test Xbox Live Connection" then press "A" on the controller.
Select "Yes" when prompted to download the system update.
