How to Remove the Call of Duty 4 Xbox Update

The patching process for games on the Xbox 360 console is obtained automatically when you launch the game while connected to Xbox Live. All updates that were released for the "Call of Duty 4" have addressed exploits and bugs, and have added additional features. Sometimes an error can occur while downloading an update that causes a problem during the patching process. In these cases, something could happen that prevents you from obtaining all of the update. The result is your Xbox will assume the game is updated when you try to run the game, but the game may not work properly or at all. The solution to this is to run the disk maintenance utility. This utility removes the installed updates.
