If you have an original Xbox controller that you would like to use on your computer, you can do so, because both devices are made by the same company. You just have to connect your Xbox controller to your PC using an adapter.

      Plug your Xbox controller's cable output into one end of your Xbox-to-USB adapter. These adapters take the proprietary end of your Xbox controller and convert it into a USB end that can be used by a computer.

      Connect the USB plug on the Xbox-to-USB adapter to your computer.

      Install the included software (if applicable). Certain models of Xbox 1 controller adapters may come with a CD-ROM with a driver on it. Put this CD in your computer, click "Install" and reboot.
