How to Set Up Xbox Media Center With a D-Link Router

Since the release of Windows XP Media Center Edition, Microsoft has included the Media Center application with all subsequent releases of Windows. The application provides a "lean-back" approach to viewing your media. It can also record live TV and send the media on your computer to your TV via an Xbox. The Xbox acts a "Media Center Extender," connecting wirelessly to the Windows Media Center application, streaming movies, music and pictures to your living room. With your D-Link router, Xbox 360 and Windows Media Center, each must be configured properly to talk across the network.
