How to Use Internal WiFi to Interface an Xbox Controller

The Xbox 360 does not use wired controllers like the gaming consoles of previous generations. Instead, the Xbox 360 uses an internal wireless adapter to interface with these controllers. This allows you to move as far away from your television as you'd like and still have the ability to play your Xbox 360. The controller and the system must be synced properly in order for this connection to take place.

     Turn on your Xbox 360 using its "Power" button.

     Turn on your Xbox 360 wireless controller.

     Press the "Connect" button on the front of your Xbox 360 one time.

     Press the "Connect" button on the controller. Your Xbox 360 and your gaming controller will now be wirelessly interfaced together.
