Connect a Xbox 360 to a wireless network using the Linksys Wireless-G game adapter to access Xbox Live.       Connect the Linksys Wireless-G game adapter to Xbox 360 using the provided Ethernet network cable. The Xbox 360 should be powered off, and no game disc should be in the game tray. Plug both the game adapter and the Xbox 360 into the power outlets. Power on the Xbox 360, and the main menu will appear.

      Select the "System Settings" option on the Xbox 360 "My Xbox" main menu using the Xbox 360 controller then select "Network Settings." Select the "Wireless Network" option, then select "Settings" on the "Wireless Status" menu. Select the "Network Name" option and choose the name of the network that the Xbox 360 will connect to.

      Select "Security Type" if the network uses a WEP encryption mode. Choose either "64-BIT WEP" or "128-BIT WEP" depending on the settings that the wireless router uses. Enter the "WEP key" that is used on the wireless network, then select the "Apply" button on the "Wireless Settings" screen. Select "More" on the "Wireless Status" screen to verify that the information is correct. Test the network connection to verify that the network is working correctly.
