How to Connect a Samsung SyncMaster 17-Inch TFT LCD Monitor to an Xbox 360

The Samsung SyncMaster TFT LCD is a 17-inch flat-screen computer monitor equipped with different video jacks for hooking up a variety of equipment. The composite video jack accommodates a standard RCA-type video plug for a quick connection to an Xbox 360 video gaming system. The yellow video plug on the audio-video cable supplied with the Xbox 360 console hooks up in seconds to the 1/4-inch input jack on the back connection panel of the Samsung monitor.

     Press the "Power" button on the right side of the Samsung monitor front panel to shut off the unit.

     Insert the flat uni-plug on one end of the XBox AV cable into the port on the rear of the game console.

     Connect the yellow plug on the other end to the analog input on the back connection panel of the Samsung monitor.

     Turn on the power to the monitor.
