How to Access Showtime on Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360

Unlike previous "Burnout" games, "Burnout Paradise" offers an open plan city, Paradise City, without a predefined order of events or courses. As a result, you can tackle events such as Showtime Road Rules events wherever and whenever you want. In a Showtime event, which replaces Crash Junction events from previous "Burnout" games, you have to boost down a road and cause as much damage as you can along the way. There are 64 streets in the game that offer a Showtime event, and accessing them is a task that requires not much more than entering the road you want to perform the event on.

Instructions

  Start driving along the road on which you want to perform the Showtime Road Rules event. Activate your boost by holding down either the "A" button or "RT" trigger depending on your controller configuration.

  Wait until you see a lot of traffic and hold down both the left trigger ("LT") and right trigger ("RT") simultaneously. This will start Showtime mode. If you start Showtime mode without much traffic on the road, you will not score as highly.

  Release "LT" and "RT," and steer your vehicle through the traffic. Try to hit as many cars as you can. The more cars you hit, the more points you will score. Showtime mode will end when your car stops moving.
