How to Use HDMI on an Xbox 360 Without an HDMI Adapter

The Xbox 360 can connect to televisions in a number of different ways, generally through the use of an RCA, component, or HDMI Xbox 360 adapter. In the case of HDMI, however, you do not necessarily need an HDMI Xbox 360 cable to connect the 360 to a television, since the console comes with an HDMI port located on its back.

      Connect one end of your HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your XBox 360. This port is located on the back of the console, directly below the 360's standard A/V port.

      Connect the other end of the cable to an HDMI port on the back of your television.

      Turn your television on and change it to its HDMI input channel. You will see the signal from your Xbox on your television screen.
