How to Connect Two X-Box Steering Wheels

Controllers are used with the Xbox gaming console to play a variety of games, including role playing or racing games. The Xbox gaming console is capable of supporting up to four types of controllers. You can easily use two wireless racing wheels with the device. You will need to connect and set up the first racing wheel before you connect a second one to the Xbox.

Things You'll Need

Two wireless racing wheels
RJ-11 cable

Instructions

  Plug one end of the RJ-11 cable to the port on the base of the pedal. Plug the other end of the cable into the port on the racing wheel.

  Loosen the screw on the clamp and open the quick release lever. Place the open end of the clamp over the edge of a table or support.

  Tighten the screw, by hand, until it no longer moves. Push down on the quick release lever to secure the racing wheel to the table.

  Open the battery cover for the racing wheel and insert two AA batteries. Close the battery cover. If you do not want to use batteries, an AC adapter is available. Plug the small end of the adapter into the input on the racing wheel and the larger end into a wall outlet.

  Press the "Xbox" button in the center of the racing wheel. Hold the button until the racing wheel comes on.

  Press the "Connect" button that is on the front of the Xbox console. Press the connect button that is on the racing wheel. When you see a ring of light flash on the console and the racing wheel, the device has been connected successfully.

  Repeat this process to connect the second wireless racing wheel to the Xbox.
