How to Connect an AC Adapter to a Battery Pack

Xbox 360 wireless controllers can be purchased with Play and Charge Kits, which includes a rechargeable battery pack and charge cord, eliminating the need for AA batteries. Because of the very slow charging speed of the charge cord, however, many Xbox 360 owners opt for purchasing a Quick Charge Kit, which is an AC adapter that connects directly to the battery pack to charge it in only two hours. With the battery pack and Quick Charge Kit AC adapter in hand, connecting them is not difficult.

Instructions

  Connect the AC cord on the Quick Charge Kit adapter to a wall plug and place the adapter in a convenient location, away from the reach of pets and small children.

  Disconnect the battery pack from your Xbox 360 controller by pushing the button and pulling it up and away from the controller, and then connect it to your Quick Charge Kit adapter by pushing it down and clicking it into place. A red LED light will now turn on, indicating that it is charging.

  Leave the battery pack alone for approximately two hours. When the LED light turns green, your battery pack is finished charging and ready for use with your Xbox 360 controller again.
