How to Get a Free Mythic Map Pack Code

Released by Bungie and Microsoft on the Xbox 360 in 2008, "Halo 3" is a first-person science fiction shooting game in which the player must fight a losing war versus aliens. You can obtain the Mythic map pack, which is downloadable content (DLC) and includes various new maps to play on online competitive multiplayer. The Limited Edition version of "Halo 3" comes with a free Mythic map pack code included.

      Purchase a Limited Edition copy of "Halo 3." Depending on where you purchase it, you might still find new copies with codes guaranteed to work. By purchasing used copies, you might not get a code that works.

      Remove the code from the case. This will be tucked on top of the manual inside the game case.

      Redeem the code. Press the "Guide" button on your Xbox 360 controller. Navigate to "Marketplace" and then "Redeem Code." Press "A." Type in the code and press "Done."
