The Intercooler TS is an accessory for the Xbox 360 manufactured by Nyko. It is designed to aid in cooling the console during operation and is connected over the air vents already on the console. The Intercooler is an unsupported, third-party device with the potential to void the Xbox 360's warranty.

Size
- The Nyko Intercooler TS is 4 inches wide, 9.75 inches tall and 3.1 inches deep. It weighs 10.9 ounces. The size of the unit is designed to allow it to fit only over the air vents of the console. When attached to the console, it does not block access to any of the peripheral ports.
Cooling System
- Three fans are used to blow air into the air vents of the Xbox 360 console. The Intercooler TS does not cool the console in any way. It functions by increasing the air flow through the console. This does result in an increase in the speed heat can transfer from the electronic components into the passing air. The fans are powered by an AC adapter.
TempSmart
- The Intercooler TS has a TempSmart system that is used to turn the fans on and off automatically. The TempSmart system powers the fans any time the console temperature is higher than the ambient temperature. In practice, this system only serves to turn the fans on whenever the console is turned on. The Xbox 360, like most electronics, always exceeds ambient temperature when in operation.
