How to Make Money in Fable 3

Fable 3 is the third installment to the Fable games by Lionhead Studio. This game is split into two parts. You start off as a prince or princess with a tyrant ruler as your brother. It's your job to start a revolution, overthrow your brother and claim the crown of Albion. Throughout the beginning of the game, you make promises that will be hard to keep. You'll need more than eight million gold to keep those promises once you're crowned and to save your kingdom.

Choose a craft. Decide if you're going to become a blacksmith, pie maker or musician by playing the lute. Increase your skill in that chosen profession along the road to rule by opening the appropriate chests. Each craft has five chest, that is five skill levels to increase the money you make while performing. However, compared to Fable 2, doing a craft is a lot harder than just hitting one button over and over. The higher your skill is in a specific area, the more buttons you'll have to hit to increase the gold multiplier. If you mess up, you'll have to start all over again.

Buy property. As soon as you have enough gold, you'll want to start buying up shops. Don't bother with buying houses as they take damage and will need to be repaired if you hope to get any form of rent out of them. You can purchase shops after obtaining the appropriate skill during the game. Once you purchase a shop, you can increase the price from low, to average, high or highest. For now, put the prices in the shop at the highest amount possible as you can always change them later. Unfortunately, you can no longer make money while logged out of the game like you could with Fable 2. You gain profit every five minutes and will continue to do so while you play.

Gamble on the chicken races or in pubs. If you're good at memory games, head on over to a pub and play a few rounds. Be careful how much you bet until you get the hang of it. Folks have claimed to make a fair sum from gambling, but you may want to do it in addition to doing a craft or renting out property.
