Choji and Temari
Choji and Temari were made available on January 7, 2008 and can be unlocked together for 500 Microsoft points. Choji is the larger-than-average ninja who boosts his attack by eating. His special move is a power boost that increases the damage he can deal. Temari is a female fighter who takes out her opponents using an oversized fan. Her special move involves sending shock waves at her opponent from across a chasm
Jiraiya and Sarutobi
Jiraiya and Sarutobi are paired together and were released on December 21, 2007 for 500 Microsoft points. Jiraiya is an older ninja who summons a giant frog during his special move. The frog spits fire at your opponent, then finishes him off with a smashing leap. Sarutobi spins and teleports around the battlefield to keep from being damaged. The ninja also will use a special move that coats the arena in mud, preventing his opponent from sidestepping to avoid attacks.
Shikiamaru
Unlike the other four unlockable characters, Shikamaru, available since the release of the game, is free of charge, but can only unlocked be by signing up for an Ubisoft player account and then linking that account with your Xbox Live ID. Once you have linked the two accounts, Shikamaru will be downloaded to your game. This young ninja takes out his opponent using a special move consisting of flaming daggers that ignite the ground, causing an explosion that damages his foe.
