How to Connect a Headset for Call of Duty 3

If you don't have a headset and you play a multiplayer game on a computer, you still have the option to type messages using the keyboard. This isn't possible playing multiplayer games on the Xbox 360. If you want to play team-based modes on multiplayer in online games, such as "Call of Duty 3," you must connect a headset to talk to your teammates.

Instructions

Wireless Headset

  Press the power button on your Xbox 360 console.

  Press the power button on your headset.

  Press the connect button on your Xbox 360 console. This is a small, circular button next to the memory card slots. It is the same color as your console.

  Press and hold the connect button on your headset for two seconds. The console will detect and make the connection.
Wired Headset

  Lower the volume on your headset, in case the volume is too high.

  Locate the headphone jack on the bottom of the 360 controller.
- 7
  Plug the wired headset into the jack on your controller.
