How to Beat the Last Level of Ace Combat 6

For video games, the final level is designed to be an ultimate test of a gamer's ability in that game. The last mission of "Ace Combat 6," titled "Chandelier," requires pinpoint accuracy and a firm grasp on aerial combat to finish it. You are tasked with blowing up the "chandelier," a giant static missile gun, the enemy's ultimate weapon.

Instructions

  Select the best aircraft you have available. Outfit yourself with antiground weapons.

  Listen to the conversation between your squad and Melissa. You will receive the mission targets automatically following this conversation.

  Destroy all AA guns, enemy aircraft and enemy ships around your primary targets, which are the cooling units and the shields. Use machine gun fire to disrupt the shields and destroy the cooling units. You will then receive a mission update with a new primary mission, which is to destroy the backup cooling unit.

  Destroy the guntowers near the backup cooling unit. Fly into the small tunnel that houses the backup cooling unit. Destroy all gun emplacements found on the ceiling and floors of the corridor. Use your missiles to destroy the cooling unit and escape the corridor through the opening in the ceiling. You will receive one final mission update to destroy the giant turret.

  Fly inside of the turret, carefully navigating the narrow path. Fire your missiles at the core unit, located at the end of the turret corridor. Once the core unit is destroyed, a cut-scene will automatically trigger, and you will have won the mission and the game.
