How to Unblock Parental Control

The Xbox 360, like other seventh-generation home gaming consoles, allows users to impose parental controls that block the play of games with a certain rating. In order to play these games on your console, you must unrestrict the system.

      Turn your Xbox 360 on. Select the "Settings" option in the main menu.

      Select the "Family Settings" option and "Console Controls" in the next menu.

      Select the "Turn Off Family Settings" option in the next menu.

      Enter the parental control password into the first text box. Select "Done" to unlock parental control.
