How to Install a Camera on a PS3

PlayStation's Eye video camera allows gamers to chat with friends online. The device also works in collaboration with Sony's Move controllers to offer better feel and accuracy when handling the motion-oriented controller. It's plug-and-play as long as you have the proper console updates and a PlayStation Network account.

     Log into your PlayStation Network account.

     Download the latest PS3 software update by selecting "Yes" when prompted. If you aren't asked to download the update, then your console already has the latest software version.

     Plug your Eye's USB cable into a USB port on your PS3 to complete the installation process.
