How to Paint a Car in Forza

Forza Motorsport is a racing video game developed by Microsoft and Turn Ten Studios for the Xbox 360. Forza is a racing simulation that features realistic automobile dynamics and a very deep upgrade and customization tool set. There are options to upgrade engine and body parts, tune your vehicles and apply customized paint jobs to personalize your car. Car designing can range from applying alternate paint jobs to creating custom shapes and logos using the extensive paint-design tools within the game. It is helpful to generate a sketch of a complex design on paper or use software such as Microsoft Paint prior to creating it in Forza.

Instructions

  Load Forza Motorsport and press the "right arrow" button on your Xbox 360 controller to select the "Career Mode." Press the "right arrow" button to select "My Cars" and choose a car to paint.

  Press the "right arrow" button and select "Paint Car." Options available by pressing the "right arrow" again include applying body paint, shapes, designs and logos and taking a photo and saving the design to a catalog for re-use. Press the "A" button to paint the body of the car. There are options to paint various sections of the car, including the body, brake calipers, hood and mirrors.

  Press the "A" button to select a color to paint the body. Press the "right trigger" button to select from normal, metallic, manufacturer and custom color schemes. Press the "arrow button" or move the "left stick" on the controller to select a color from the color wheel. The image of your car on the screen will adjust to preview the color that you select. Press the "A" button to apply your color choice.

  Press the "right arrow" and select options to apply shapes or logos or tint the windows of your car. Select the option to save your design if desired and to take a photo of your car if you wish to share it on the Forza Motorsports website.
