How to Get a Golden Lancer

The Gears of War Lancer is an automatic rifle equipped with a chainsaw bayonet, making the Lancer deadly both from close range and from a distance. Gears of War 2 saw the return of the iconic weapon, and with its return, Epic games, the makers of Gears of War, released a golden version of the gun usable during multiplayer or co-op campaign missions. The golden Lancer became exclusively available to owners who purchased Gears of War 2 Limited Edition.

     Purchase Gears of War Limited Edition. Unfortunately, players looking to use the golden Lancer can do so only by purchasing the limited edition of the game.

     Press the Xbox logo button on your controller to bring up the main menu. Scroll left and select "Redeem Code."

     Enter your Xbox Live golden Lancer redemption code included inside your game.

   • 4

     Select your golden Lancer during the pre-game lobby of a multiplayer match.
