How to Transfer PC Files to an Xbox 360

With the Xbox 360, users can download pictures and videos using Windows Media Center. When the Xbox is connected to a computer, all files located in the Windows Media Center are automatically synced between the computer and the game console. This allows the user to listen to music, play videos and view pictures, which are located on the computer.

Instructions

  Connect the Xbox 360 with the computer using either a dual USB cable or Ethernet cable.

  Go to "My Xbox" on the Xbox 360.

  Click "Windows Media Center."

  Follow all instructions on the screen until the eight-digit key code pops up.

  Go to the computer and open "Windows Media Center."

  Select "Tasks" and "Add Extender."

  Enter the eight-digit key from step 3.

  Follow the instructions to complete the setup. The files from the computer are now synced with the Xbox 360 and all files from the media center will appear in the "Windows Media Center" on the Xbox.
