How to play Halo Reach online

Halo Reach is the fourth entry in the Halo series of video games, and the final Halo game to be made by the games original creators, Bungie software. The Halo series puts players in the role of Master Chief, a powerful and enigmatic solider whose face is never shown. The Halo series is one of the best selling game series of all time, and all four entries in the series offer both single player and multiplayer game modes.

Instructions

  Turn on the Xbox 360 by pressing the large circular power button on the front of the console. Wait for the system to fully power up before moving on. You will know that power up is complete when the Xbox dashboard is shown on your TV screen.

  Press the Xbox button on Xbox the controller to bring up the sign-in menu. The Xbox button is the silver and green button in the very center of the controller that has the Xbox logo on it. Select "Sign In" from the menu that appears, and enter your user name and password when prompted.

  Insert the Halo Reach game disc into the Xbox 360 disc drive. Wait for the Xbox 360 to read and recognize the game disc before processing. You will know that the Xbox 360 has completed this step when the Halo Reach splash screen appears on your TV.

  Press the A (green) button on the Xbox 360 controller to launch the Halo Reach software. It may take up to 30 seconds for this process to be completed.

  Select "multiplayer" from the main Halo Reach menu. This will bring up a list of Halo Reach game modes that can be played online, as well as a brief description for each. Simply move the directional pad the select the game mode that you wish to play, then press A to be automatically connected to a server which is running that game type.
