How to: an Xbox HDMI to an LCD TV

Xbox 360 consoles are manufactured by Microsoft and can utilize an HDMI cable to connect to LCD televisions. Xbox 360 consoles can display video output up to 1080p using an HDMI cable. Plugging your Xbox 360 HDMI cable into a console and then into a television will take about 1 minute to finish.

Instructions

  Unplug any previous video cables from the rear of the Xbox 360 console. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the Xbox 360, plugging it into the HDMI port on the back of the machine.

  Take the other end of the HDMI cable to the LCD TV. Locate the HDMI port on the the TV and plug in the HDMI cable. The Xbox 360 video and sound output will now be displayed on the "HDMI" output channel of the LCD TV.

  Power on the Xbox 360. Select "My Xbox" then "System Settings" and press the "A" button. Select "Display Settings" and select the resolution (up to 1080p) that you wish to use with your LCD TV. The console will restart and begin displaying video at high resolutions using the HDMI cable.
