How to Add Music to Rock Band on Xbox 360

"Rock Band" on the Xbox 360 allows you to form a band with up to four gamers and then play a selection of songs using the game's guitar, drum and microphone peripherals. While the game features 58 songs on the game disc, you can download additional songs by both signed and independent bands through the Rock Band Music Store. Downloaded songs become part of your "Rock Band" game and you can also play them in subsequent games in the "Rock Band" series.

Instructions

  Highlight "Game Library" on the Xbox 360 dashboard and press "A." Select "All Games" and then "Rock Band Music Store" and press "A." Choose "Play Game."

  Scroll to "Rock Band: RB1/RB2" on the "Choose a Store" menu and press "A."

  Move down the menu to "Songs" and press "A." Scroll through a list of available songs in the store. Press "LB" to switch to new releases and "RB" to switch to song packs.

  Highlight the song you wish to download and press "A." Press "A" again to hear a preview or go down to "Purchase" and press "A." Confirm the download and it will begin.

  Repeat the selection and download process on any other songs you wish to add to the game.

  Press the "Guide" button on the Xbox 360 controller and exit back to your Xbox 360 dashboard. Insert the "Rock Band" game disc into your console and start a game. Your new songs will be added.
