Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose the exact spot where you want to place your Xbox console. Placing it on your television stand will provide easier access for its users and will make it easier for you to hide its wires at the back.
Hook the Xbox to your TV. The Xbox will come with its own AV cable. Take the cable's input end and insert it into your audio video input/output slot found at the back part of your Xbox. Plug the other end of your cable into the back part of your TV.
Set up the Ethernet access by inserting the Ethernet cable into the Xbox's LAN slot. This is located at the back of the Xbox. Connect the other end of your Ethernet cable to the phone line jack.
Plug the Xbox controller into the Xbox unit's front side. This allows your controller to charge while you start playing the Xbox unit.
Press the eject button of your Xbox to accomplish the last step of the assembly. The eject button is found at the front side of the Xbox console, and once pressed, it will open the disk tray for you to insert your Xbox game CD. Press your eject button again to close the disk tray and you can now start playing the game on your Xbox.
