Super Mario World
The first 16-bit gaming console from Nintendo, the Super Nintendo, has several games available for emulation on the Xbox 360. Super Mario World is a popular platform game, re-made, and continued repeatedly by Nintendo, which runs on emulators for the Xbox 360. Players take control of Mario and his companions as they battle the evil Bowser and try to rescue the princess. Players move Mario through the level avoiding enemies and using tubes to move from level to level. The difficulty level becomes progressively harder as players continue the game.
Resident Evil
The first of the Resident Evil series of games, Resident Evil for the Sega Saturn, is playable on the Xbox 360 through an emulator. In this game, players take control of members of a special task force trapped within a mansion. Hordes of hungry zombies assault the character, and the objective of the game is to discover the cause of the strange mutations. A shoot-em-up combined with a puzzle game, the Resident Evil series is still popular, with games for almost every console and several feature length films.
Pac-Man
An arcade classic, Pac-Man is available to play on the Xbox 360 through use of an emulator. The game has been re-made over the years for a number of consoles, and there are dozens of emulation files available. Players control a yellow blob, Pac-Man, who must eat all the energy balls scattered throughout the maze. Earn extra points by eating fruit that appears randomly and for powering-up and eating the ghosts that pursue Pac-Man. The level ends once Pac-Man has consumed all the balls or been eaten by one of the four ghosts. The levels become harder as the game progresses.
