Lost Odyssey Ring Tutorial

"Lost Odyssey" is a role-playing game developed by Mistwalker for the Xbox 360. This game allows you to equip enhancement rings to add an additional effect to your character's normal attack. This effect can include elemental damage, bonus damage to specific creature types, status effects, hit point/magic point (HP/MP) absorption and the ability to steal items. The additional effect from the enhancement ring is not a random occurrence. The aiming ring system is used to determine if the effect is added to the attack.

Instructions

- 1
  Equip any enhancement ring to one of your characters. Any item that can be equipped in the "Enhancement" slot is an enhancement ring. The effect of each ring appears when you highlight it in the "Equip" or "Item" menus.

  Click "Attack" during battle. Only the standard "Attack" command allows you to use enhancement rings. Two rings appear immediately after you select "Attack."

  Hold down the right trigger on the controller to cause the outer ring to shrink.

  Release the right trigger when the two rings overlap. The goal is to have the outer ring overlap the black band on the inner ring.
