How to Watch Internet TV on My XBox XBMC

The Xbox Media Center (XBMC) installed in a modified Xbox video game console can access a PC through a wired home network. Watch Internet TV on the Xbox by using an Internet TV access program on the PC to stream TV shows to the game console. The procedure is no more complicated than when using a web browser on a PC and will not harm or affect any warranty on the Xbox.

Instructions

  Download an Internet TV access program onto the desktop of the PC, for example, the free trial version of the Playon TV access program, the free trial version of the MediaLink TV access program or the free GeeXboX uShare program (see Resources). Double-click on the file once downloaded to install it on the hard drive. Restart the PC after the installation is completed.

  Launch the TV access program by selecting it from the ̶0;Start,̶1; ̶0;All Applications̶1; pop-up menu.

  Turn on the Xbox. Go to the ̶0;My Xbox̶1; setting. Select ̶0;Video library from beneath the ̶0;My Xbox̶1; setting. Select the TV access program from the list of choices presented on a new screen.

  Select a TV episode website folder from the list presented on a new screen, for example, the ̶0;Hulu̶1; website.

  Select ̶0;TV Episodes̶1; from the list presented on a new screen.

  Select a TV show to watch from the list presented on a new screen. Press the ̶0;X̶1; button on the game controller to start the video of the TV show playing.
