How to Watch TV on XBox

Many of your favorite television shows are available for viewing on the Xbox 360. You can download episodes for a few dollars and watch them on the Zune program on the console or watch any shows you have saved in your Netflix queue if you are a Netflix subscriber. You will need a gold Xbox Live membership to access the content.

Instructions

  Go to "Video Marketplace" on the Xbox 360 Dashboard and select Zune.

  Scroll to the TV section. You can browse by featured programming, by network or conduct an alphabetical search.

  Press "A" when highlighting a show of interest. This will bring up a screen that shows a list of episodes available for purchase. Select a show and you can watch a preview if desired and select the "buy" option if and when you are ready to do that. The cost will be displayed in Microsoft points. The conversion rate is 80 points per $1, so a 240-point episode would cost $3.

  Watch the TV show by going to "Video Library" in Zune and scrolling to the TV blade. Your list of downloaded shows will be displayed here.

  Access shows on Netflix by choosing that option from "Video Marketplace" on the Dashboard. Scroll to the list of available TV shows and save one you want to your instant watch queue. Go to the queue to see your saved programming and find the show you want to watch.
